dire - You don't need to fill out an app. Just bring some barley for my pot still so I can distill some single malt and a good root beer recipe and we'll call it even. Bonus points for blacksmith, farrier or husbandry experience.

In all seriousness, there is a fairly well established sustainable community in/near Montague, MA with several CSA (Community Supported Agriculture organizations) a Dairy co-op, and a Poultry co-op. I think there are about 40 families that are working together. We have some very good friends in Montague who were instrumental in getting things going up there. You don't have to move far.

that is damn interesting about the Montague community - certainly not surprised though - i may almost be within walking distance ;)

Ya had to go and mention the Dairy Co-op!! I think Dire could get into Cow Husbandry - sounds like fun don't it Dire!!
